Zero Waste Shampoo Bar

Solid forms of cleansers are becoming the hype.  They are eco friendly, use less water, zero waste and travel friendly.  Much like a bar of soap this shampoo bar is activated by water and lathers just like a shampoo and cleanses the hair like a traditional shampoo.  The difference in a bar of soap is that a shampoo bar is made of surfactants that emulsify the oil and dirt on the hair and scalp and doesn't contain lye which raises the pH and we don't want to do that to our hair.  Why you say, because it may raise the negative charge increasing friction that can lead to hair fiber and cuticle damage.  The shampoo bars I make are free of parabens, sulfates, and silicones. These bars last quite a while depending how often you use them.
